Jupiter Marine Servives (Pvt) Ltd was established by Capt. G.U. Khan in October 1993, it has since then become the premier crewing resource company of Pakistan.

Managing Director

Responsibilities

  • To continuously market for customer to procure employment for seafarers.
  • To maintain active liaison with government regulatory and legislative agencies to protect the company's interests and promote goodwill.
  • To maintain communication with customers in evaluating their needs, expectations and satisfaction~ (Negotiation of contract with customers)
  • To co-ordinate and oversee the handling of customer complaints for immediate and timely solution.
  • To establish and implement the Quality Management System in JMS including Quality Policy and Objectives.
  • To make JMS personnel aware of JMS's quality system, customers, objectives and their role towards effective QMS and continual improvement.
  • To oversee, direct and co'-ordinate the operational activities performed by JMS's personnel as to maximize process effectiveness and efficiency through optimum utilization of resources for achieving the company's Quality Objectives.
  • To conduct internal quality audits and management reviews regularly at defined frequency in order to evaluate the effectiveness of quality system, take corrective actions, provide necessary resources, and strive for continual improvement.
  • To negotiate contracts with product/service suppliers to the best advantage of the company and to continuously evaluate their performance for quantity and quality.
  • To institute operating procedures and ensure availability of adequate procedures for conducting the business of the company and its operational efficiency.
  • To formulate various programs to continuously develop knowledge and skills of people at ail levels, and to provide opportunities for personal growth and career advancement.
  • To be personally responsible for maintaining high standards of ethical business practices, and to conduct operations himself in a responsible manner as Managing Director of the company, both within the company and the community to promote goodwill and sense of good citizenship.

Responsibilities

Mr. Mirza Zohaib Baig
Supervisor Communication

Responsibilities

  • Incharge of written communications mainly on the international circuit via email, telex, fax which may include but not limited business correspondence with Principals and clients of JMS.
  • Responsible to maintain and update all communication performed by JMS.
  • Responsible to assist Mgr. Administration in crew changing formalities.
  • Responsible to keep communication equipment in working order and in case of any maintenance requirements inform Mgr. Administration.
Mr. Muhammad Faisal
Manager Operations

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for attending seafarers coming in JMS office for employment
  • Responsible for the recording of application form of potential seafarers.
  • Assist MD, in the selection of seafarer, for recommendation to principal customer.
  • To act as communication interface between JMS and selected seafarers and also with principal customer.
  • Responsible for the activities performed in preparing the seafarer for departure like; document verification & submission, medical examination, flight arrangements, working gear provision, and pre-departure documents completion.
  • Responsible to oversee and assist the Supervisor External in the sign-on and sign-'off arrangement of seafarers' from Government Shipping Office.
  • Responsible to conduct ratings' selection in Government Shipping Office.
  • Responsible for the selection, evaluation and performance monitoring of supplier in his area.
  • Responsible for the statistical data analysis in his area.
  • Assist MD in resolution of principal customers' complaints.
  • Maintaining good relations with staff and visitors.
  • To look after all matters relating to crew during the absence of MD and to remain in close contact with MD for smooth running of this department.
Mr. Junaid H. Farooqi
Account Manager

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to assist Mgr. Administration in every aspect of his work.
  • Responsible to perform communication between JMS and Principal Customer in the absence of Supervisor communication.
  • Responsible to assist Mgr. Administration in filing and recording of documents.
  • Responsible to perform duties assigned or directed by MD or Mgr. Administration for both in-office work and out-door office related works.
Mr. Noman Ul Haque
Supervisor Operations

Responsibilities

  • Attending the seafarers in JMS in absence of Mgr. Operations.
  • Collection, checking and maintaining of seafarers' submitted documents.
  • Responsible for the documents preparation of selected seafarers like:
    1. Medical Examination letters
    2. Working Gear letters
    3. Flight arrangement letter
    4. Contracts and appointment letters
  • Responsible for filing the records of onboard and on leave seafarers.
Mr. Wajid Maqsood Khan
Supervisor External

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for performing sign'-on and sign'-off formalities of departing and disembarking seafarers respectively in Government Shipping Office.
  • Responsible to keep active liaison with concerned legal and regulatory bodies about any recent changes.
  • Responsible for the JMS's outdoor activities like:
    1. collection of tickets from airline
    2. visa procedure
  • Responsible to co-ordinate ratings' selection `in Government Shipping Office with Mgr. Operations.
  • Responsible to assist Mgr. Operations in Ratings' selection in Government Shipping Office

Asst. Sup. External

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to assist Sup. External in performing his work.
  • Responsible to assist Sup. Communication in communication recording and filing.
  • Responsible to perform duties assigned or directed by Mgr. Operation, Assist. Mgr. Operations and Sup. External for both in-office work and out-door works.
